One of the best viewpoints in New York awaits you with a ticket to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, offering views of the Manhattan skyline and landmarks such as the Empire State Building and Central Park. The VIP option allows you to avoid lines.
The SUMMIT Experience
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is situated near Grand Central Terminal and provides exceptional views of the New York skyline from Midtown Manhattan. The tower stands at 1,400 ft (427 m) with 93 floors, and the SUMMIT experience spans the top 3 floors.
SUMMIT Spaces:
- Air art installation by Kenzo Digital: A large interactive art space divided into 4 areas: Transcendence 1, Transcendence 2, Affinity, and Unity.
- Levitation: Walk on two glass ledges 1,100 ft above Madison Avenue.
- Reflect: An immersive art experience by Yayoi Kusama.
- Après: A café offering food and cocktails with great views.
- Terrace: An open-air terrace at 1,401 ft above New York.
- Boutique: Purchase a memento from SUMMIT.
The ticket provides access to all 3 floors. VISITORS can see the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings as well as Central Park and Bryant Park from above. Daytime visits highlight the art installations, while nighttime offers the Air: Beacon Mode experience.
SUMMIT Schedule
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is open daily from 9 am to 12 am, with final admission at 10:29 pm.
Skip-the-Line SUMMIT Premium Tour
For a VIP experience, a 90-minute guided tour is available, providing shortcut access and insights into the building and art. This tour includes a pack of digital photos. The meeting point is at the upper part of the stairs of the MTA, 15 minutes before the start time.
Signature Experience
Enhance your experience with a cocktail at the SUMMIT bar. Choose between an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
Instructions
On the day of the activity, please go to the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt observation deck entrance (45 East 42nd Street, New York). The entrance to the monument is located in the main lobby of Grand Central Terminal.
If you have selected the guided tour, the meeting point will be the upper part of the stairs of the MTA, right in front of the entrance. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes beforehand. If you arrive late, you must register at the ticket booth, as it's possible you may not join the next tour.
Important Info
- Please be as punctual as possible, as all tickets have a fixed time. If you arrive late, your tickets will be accommodated based on availability and will be subject to an extra rescheduling fee. You may not be able to enter if you arrive more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.
- We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as access to the observation deck is not permitted with stiletto heels, steel-toed shoes or other footwear that may damage the mirrored floor of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt.
- Also, due to the mirrored floor, it's not advisable to wear dresses or skirts, preferably pants or leggings. Also, during the day, don't forget to wear sunglasses.
What Happens on Days of Low Visibility?
If there is insufficient visibility at the time of your arrival, we'll offer you the option of rescheduling your visit for another day free of charge, provided that this is possible and that you have availability for another day.
If you are unable to reschedule the visit for another day, you'll have to come up to the SUMMIT, as no refund will be provided.
If there is insufficient visibility, SUMMIT staff will inform you of this before scanning your entry tickets. If, after being informed of the low visibility, you decide to go up to the SUMMIT, you will not be able to reschedule your visit for another day, and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Rain and clouds do not necessarily mean no visibility.
