Washington DC & Philadelphia Day Trip

Meet outside the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square at 5 am. A comfortable air-conditioned bus will depart for Washington DC after a 5-hour drive, including a halfway stop for breakfast or a break. Upon arrival in Washington DC, begin the tour by visiting the Iwo Jima Memorial, followed by the Abraham Lincoln Memorial and monuments for the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Next, view the White House from the outside and learn its history from the guide. Then, see the Capitol, which houses significant decision-making. After visiting these sites, enjoy one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant before departing for Philadelphia, the first U.S. capital after the Revolutionary War.

In Philadelphia, view the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall from the outside, where key documents were signed. Finally, visit Rocky's Stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and challenge yourself to climb the 72 steps. At 6:30 pm, the return journey to New York begins, arriving in Times Square at approximately 8:30 pm.

Instructions

The tour bus will depart at the indicated time from the door of the Lids Store, located at Two Times Square, 714 Seventh Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets. Please be on time.

The nearest underground station is 49 St, located just a five-minute walk away. This stop is on the N, Q, R and W (yellow) lines.

Please note

Keep in mind that this tour is quite long and that the road trips are lengthy. There's a lot of distance to be covered between our departure point and destinations.

If you're travelling with children under 2, please bring your own car seat for them.

Children up to 8 years old must use an appropriate child car seat while riding in a motor vehicle.
