You will depart at 7:15 a.m. from Milan Central Station aboard a comfortable bus bound for Stresa. Once you arrive in this renowned lakeside resort on Lake Maggiore, you will set sail for a unique archipelago made up of three spectacular main islands.
Your first destination will be Isola Madre, where orange trees and laurel groves will welcome you. You will have the opportunity to admire the botanical park, the heart of the island, which is home to a wealth of rare plant species and brightly colored birds.
Next, you will set sail to explore Isola Superiore, also known as Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island). Its most notable feature is that it is the only one of the islands that is inhabited all year round. You will be captivated by its narrow streets, lined with rustic, multi-story houses designed to make the most of the island's limited area.
Finally, you will head to Isola Bella, where you can take a guided tour of Palazzo Borromeo, discover its amazing caves, the Berthier Gallery, the Gallery of Tapestries, and many other attractions that will make your experience unforgettable.
