Uffizi Small Group Tour + Optional Vasari Corridor Access

Meet your guide in front of the Uffizi Gallery and begin with a brief introduction to the Medici family, the history of the building, and how it became one of the world's most important art museums. Skip the main ticket line, pass through security, and head upstairs to the galleries.

Follow a focused 1.5-hour guided route through the Uffizi, designed to cover the essential masterpieces at a comfortable pace in a small group. See the three famous "Madonnas" by Duccio, Cimabue, and Giotto, which show how painting evolved from flat gold backgrounds toward space, depth, and human emotion.

Admire Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" and "Primavera" and learn why they became icons of Florence and the Renaissance. Continue with Leonardo da Vinci's "Annunciation" and "Adoration of the Magi", and Verrocchio's "Baptism of Christ", highlighting Leonardo's early experiments with light, movement, and perspective.

See Michelangelo's "Doni Tondo", his only panel painting in Florence, and key works by Raphael including "Madonna of the Goldfinch". The guided route concentrates on the second-floor galleries, where the most famous masterpieces are displayed. The first-floor collections, including the Venetian rooms with Titian and the Caravaggio rooms, are not part of the guided route but can be visited on your own afterwards.

Your guide will also point out the corridor of windows overlooking the Arno and Ponte Vecchio, and explain how this area connects to the Vasari Corridor.

At the end of the guided tour, your guide will show you the Vasari Corridor entrance inside the museum and say goodbye. From this point the experience is self-guided. Guests who did not select the Corridor option are free to stay and explore the Uffizi as long as they wish.

How the timing works: your Vasari Corridor entry is a fixed timed slot, approximately 2 hours after your tour begins. For example, an 08:30 tour usually has a Corridor entry around 10:45. You cannot enter earlier than the time printed on your ticket. Please allow around 4 hours in total and avoid booking other activities within this window.

The Corridor is a one-way route. It crosses above Ponte Vecchio and ends near the Pitti Palace / Boboli Gardens exit on the opposite side of the river, so once you exit you cannot return to the Uffizi. If your priority is the Uffizi collection and an unhurried visit afterwards, we recommend the standard tour option without the Corridor.

Important: access to the Vasari Corridor is included only if the Uffizi + Vasari Corridor option has been selected at booking. The guided portion takes place inside the Uffizi Gallery only. Under current museum rules guides are not permitted to give explanations inside the Corridor, so the Vasari Corridor visit is unguided for all options, including private tours.
