Begin your Kobe adventure by the sea. Capture the famous “BE KOBE” monument — a modern symbol of the city’s spirit — and enjoy the open harbor breeze. Walk along Meriken Park, where the red Kobe Port Tower and futuristic Maritime Museum create a striking skyline. It’s also the perfect spot to grab lunch or a coffee with ocean views.
Travel uphill to the charming Kitano Ijinkan, the city’s old foreign settlement area. Wander through narrow lanes lined with European-style mansions, brick houses, and flower gardens. Visit the iconic Weathercock House or Moegi House, and discover how Kobe became Japan’s first international port city with Western influence still alive in its architecture and atmosphere.
Step into a world of relaxation and tradition at Arima Onsen, one of Japan’s oldest and most famous hot spring towns. Known as one of Japan’s Three Ancient Hot Springs, Arima is famous for its golden “Kinsen” (rich in iron and salt) and silver “Ginsen” (clear, carbonated) baths. Enjoy a soothing soak at a local public bathhouse or explore the quaint streets lined with traditional inns, sweet shops, and souvenir stores offering famous carbonated rice crackers and hot spring salt cosmetics.
Ascend to Mt. Rokko, rising above the city for a breathtaking panorama of Kobe and Osaka Bay. As dusk falls, the view transforms into a “Million-Dollar Night View”, one of Japan’s top three nightscapes. Take in the dazzling lights from the observation deck or relax with a drink at a scenic café as the city sparkles below.

- 5.If you have tattoos, entry to the hot springs may be restricted. you are not allowed to wear any kind of clothing in onsen.
- 7. With fewer than 13 people, the guide will also drive and give only simple commentary.
