- Backpacks must be stored at the free luggage facility before climbing the Dome
- The Baptistery is undergoing restoration of its vault mosaics, a unique chance to witness Italy’s renowned restoration art in action

* You must climb 463 steps to reach the top of the Dome
* Every tour participant must have a ticket, including children
* Not suitable for those suffering from vertigo, claustrophobia and with reduced mobility
