Our tour is modular! Save money by bringing your own lunch or opting for a scenic 30-minute hike up to the castle instead of the shuttle bus.
Important Notes:
Departure: We depart at 8:30 AM from our shop. This is an 11-hour day, so please do not make reservations of any kind before 8:00 PM to be on the safe side.
No Standing in Lines: Castle tickets are purchased separately from your guide in cash only.
Optional Costs: Lunch, Castle Entry, and the Alpine Coaster are not included in the tour price but are all OPTIONAL.
Shuttle Bus: Service to Mary’s Bridge is approx. €3.50 (subject to availability and only one way).
Return: We conclude in Munich at approx. 7:15 PM.

Know before you go
- Please note that the tour of the castle interior is not included and costs an extra 26.50€ for adults and 3.50€ for kids under 18 to cover the mandatory online booking fee charged by the castle ticket office. This (optional) extra fee is to be paid directly to the guide at the end of the day. The main tour guide for the day does not enter the castle with you
- The coach leaves you at the foot of the castle where you need to either walk to the entrance or pay an extra taxi service to the top
- Guests must be moderately fit as there are many stairs inside the castle.
- If you are interested in the Alpine Coaster please inform your guide in the morning and they will arrange tickets. Please note that if you choose this option, you cannot do Oberammergau.
