As you wander through the village, you’ll feel as if you've stepped into a fairy tale, surrounded by magnificent palaces and Romantic architecture. Next, cross the mystical mountains of Sintra toward the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, you'll have the chance to visit the charming village of Colares and learn about its local wines, which date back to the 13th century. You'll also reach Cape Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. From Cape Roca, descend to the beach and continue your journey to Cascais, a former fishing village that became a resort for Portugal's royal family during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch in the breathtaking scenery, choosing between a traditional meal at a local restaurant or bringing your lunch to enjoy outdoors. After lunch, visit the magnificent Pena Palace, perched atop Sintra Mountain. Embark on a guided tour of this colorful building and take in the incredible panoramic views from the mountaintop. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off back at the original departure point.
