Discover two of Florence’s most important museums on a guided small-group experience combining the Accademia Gallery and the Uffizi Gallery.
Begin at the Accademia Gallery, where you’ll come face to face with Michelangelo’s David, one of the most iconic sculptures in the world. Learn how this masterpiece was carved from a single block of marble and why it became a symbol of Florence’s strength and independence. Continue exploring Michelangelo’s works, including the powerful Prisoners (Prigioni) and the unfinished St. Matthew, gaining insight into his artistic process.
Continue your journey at the Uffizi Gallery, home to an extraordinary collection of Renaissance paintings. Admire masterpieces by Sandro Botticelli, including Birth of Venus and Primavera, as well as works by Leonardo da Vinci and Giotto. Your guide will help you understand the artistic techniques, symbolism, and historical context behind these world-famous works.
The guided tour concludes at the Uffizi Terrace, where you can enjoy panoramic views over Florence. After the tour, you are free to remain inside the museum and continue exploring at your own pace.
For an even richer experience, you can select the optional Tuscan lunch to complement your day of art and culture.
