It was really a great tour. In case you visit Toronto you don’t want to miss this guru walk. We were a family from Germany and we had really great fun and learned a whole lot about history of Toronto and Canada … and who really built the Yonge street … at least 97% :-)

I took the City of London: From Sugar & Slaves to Tea & Opium tour, and I was genuinely moved by Justin’s passion and perspective. What resonated with me the most was how he didn’t shy away from the heavy reality of British imperialism. It’s past history, but its impact still connects to the world we live in today. Watching him address such sensitive and political topics with honesty—and using humor without ever making light of the history—was deeply impressive. In a time when people hesitate to voice real opinions, speaking out like that takes genuine courage. It really felt like a reflection of someone who truly loves his country enough to face its history head-on. The street noise was quite bad, but Justin pushed his voice to the limit so no one missed a word. I was honestly worried about his throat by the end, but his dedication to sharing every detail was so moving. I’m so thankful for his hard work and passion throughout the tour. It was an amazing experience led by a guide with real courage and heart. Highly recommended!
