He shared great information about the indigenous kid history before the Spanish, the creation and development of the city, and took us through a good part of the historic Candaleria neighbourhood. It turned out to be just the two of us and Jorge was engaged and engaging throughout.

Discovering Chapinero with a guide was excellent. It allowed me to discover streets, corners and perspectives that I would never be able to discover alone. Lorenzo also gave us great insights on the Colombian past and current political and social situation. It was really great!

Wir haben eine Free Walking Tour durch Chapinero gemacht und waren rundum zufrieden! Trotz wirklich starkem Regen zu Beginn hat unser Guide Danilo die Tour super gemeistert und für eine tolle Atmosphäre gesorgt. Da er noch relativ neu ist, waren zusätzlich zwei weitere Begleiter der Agentur dabei – so hatten wir quasi eine sehr intensive Betreuung, was wir als total angenehm empfunden haben. Die Tour war sehr informativ und gleichzeitig kurzweilig. Danilo hat uns viele spannende Einblicke in die Gebäude, die verschiedenen Bereiche von Chapinero und die Struktur des Viertels gegeben, sodass wir uns danach deutlich besser orientieren konnten. Besonders schön war auch der spontane Stopp in einem Café während eines heftigen Regenschauers – eine sehr entspannte und persönliche Situation, in der wir uns nett austauschen konnten. Insgesamt hat die Tour etwa 2,5 Stunden gedauert und verging wie im Flug. Ein kleines Highlight zwischendurch war außerdem der Coca-Tee. Eine rundum gelungene Tour, die wir definitiv weiterempfehlen können!

We had an amazing tour in Chapinero, Bogotá with our guide, Luis. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. He shared fascinating stories about the neighborhood’s history, culture, street art, and the importance of Chapinero as one of Bogotá’s most vibrant and diverse districts. Luis made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable. He answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm, and you could really feel his passion for the city. The tour was well balanced between history, local culture, and personal insights that made the neighborhood come alive. He also gave great recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore after the tour, which we really appreciated. Thanks to Luis, we discovered spots we would never have found on our own. If you’re visiting Bogotá and want to understand Chapinero beyond the typical tourist experience, we highly recommend taking a tour with Luis. It was a fantastic experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He also gave us really helpful tips for traveling around Bogotá and Colombia. The tour felt well organized and relaxed, and I learned a lot about Bogotá’s history and culture. Highly recommended 😊.

Nos tocó un tour privado. Éramos solo nosotros tres, sin nadie más, y eso que era una sábado por la mañana. La guía estuvo muy bien, nos invitó a probar fruta y una degustación de café. Estaría bien haber entrado a alguno de los muchos museos que hay pero no hubo ningún pero al respecto. Guía muy amable y atenta, nos faltaron horas.
