Andrei showed up in time and was a nice guy and provided good information. The site said it was a one hour tour, but when we first met he said it was 40-60 minutes, and indeed it only lasted 42 minutes. It felt a bit rushed and I think there’s more we could have covered.

Eine wunderbare Führung durch Dijon mit historischen Fakten, aber auch unterhaltsamen Geschichten.

Timo is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and interesting to listen to. he moved at a moderate pace, not too fast , but there is a lot of walking. Gave us toilette break option at the train station. We were very happy with this tour.

Andrei gave us a wonderful overview of the city and its long history while walking just a few level blocks. It was really interesting and he did a wonderful job explaining the city’s architecture, history and the myths here in Dijon. We were delighted that this tour began just as we arrived in town!

Dijon jenseits der Postkarte: Geschichten & Geheimnisse der Altstadt

Andrei was very passionate and educated when sharing facts about the city. Its the passion that was the best bit, you could see he was genuinely very excited to share the stories, facts and history. It's very contagious! Not only that, but I went to the wrong place for the first stop, to not disturb the other peoples tour, he had me join after a few stops, and then redid the bits I missed with just me at the end. I wish I had been able to give more money for his time!

The tour was very interesting and informative, and I learned so much about the city’s history, architecture, and hidden details that I would have easily missed on my own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dijon, even if you think you already know the city.

Timo was incredibly good lectured and informed about the resistance history of Dijon. This is definitely not a normal walking tour. The purpose is not the popular landmarks, but to visit and learn about the historical places that the multiple resistance group had.

We had a very interesting and engaging experience on this tour in Dijon. The introductory overview was especially helpful for those of us who weren’t fully familiar with the different stages of the war and the development of the French Resistance. The personal stories were the most moving part. Timo shared them with great care and empathy, which made them truly impactful and memorable. This is a very detailed and specialized tour, and we really appreciated Timo’s generosity and depth of knowledge. Highly recommended!
