WW2 Dijon: Incredible true stories of French Resistance

What an amazing tour and prolific discussion on the Resistance in Dijon during WW2. The walk is so well planned and such informative stories shared. Tim is a great storyteller and brought the people and their stories to life. I have a new (and much different) perspective when walking the beautiful streets of Dijon after taking his tour. Thank you Tim!

Andrei showed up in time and was a nice guy and provided good information. The site said it was a one hour tour, but when we first met he said it was 40-60 minutes, and indeed it only lasted 42 minutes. It felt a bit rushed and I think there’s more we could have covered.

Andrei gave us a wonderful overview of the city and its long history while walking just a few level blocks. It was really interesting and he did a wonderful job explaining the city’s architecture, history and the myths here in Dijon. We were delighted that this tour began just as we arrived in town!

Dijon Beyond the Postcard: Stories & Secrets of the Old Town

Andrei was very passionate and educated when sharing facts about the city. Its the passion that was the best bit, you could see he was genuinely very excited to share the stories, facts and history. It's very contagious! Not only that, but I went to the wrong place for the first stop, to not disturb the other peoples tour, he had me join after a few stops, and then redid the bits I missed with just me at the end. I wish I had been able to give more money for his time!

The tour was very interesting and informative, and I learned so much about the city’s history, architecture, and hidden details that I would have easily missed on my own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dijon, even if you think you already know the city.

Dijon Beyond the Postcard: Stories & Secrets of the Old Town

Timo was incredibly good lectured and informed about the resistance history of Dijon. This is definitely not a normal walking tour. The purpose is not the popular landmarks, but to visit and learn about the historical places that the multiple resistance group had.
