Hallo Reisende!
We were surprised that we were the only ones on the tour. Su was absolutely amazing - she had tons of information to share as well as the perspective of being a native of the Xochimilco area where the tour began. For the next three hours, she regaled us with stories about the history of the route as well as little known facts, e.g., the movie, "Nacho Libre," was filmed in Xochimilco. In addition to learning about that part of the city, we also enjoyed drinking tejate and walking through a seasonal artisans market (for Easter). Su was a wealth of knowledge and answered all of our questions, including where to find chapulines (fried grasshoppers) that we wanted to try, and where to find clean public bathrooms. We heartily recommend her as a guide!
Su was superb, as a tour guide and a person. She also provided good additional advice on restaurants and other things to do inOaxaca
Su’s tour was amazing! She was so knowledgeable on Oaxacan history, culture and society. We appreciated being taken to the beautiful neighbourhoods of Xochimilco and Jalatlaco with the incredible street art. We may have missed these if it hadn’t been for her tour! We also visited the historic centre and tried some traditional Oaxacan food and drink. Su also provided us with a list of her recommendations after the tour that we have been working our way through for the rest of our stay! Thank you !
Su was a great guide and we really enjoyed our walk with her. She’s really knowledgeable and obviously loves the city.
Great knowledge and gave a good level of information. It was our first Morning in Oaxaca and it really helped to understand the area, culture and cuisine
