Hallo! Ich bin Leonel Baca. Seit fünf Jahren bin ich Reiseleiter. Nach vier Jahren Geisteswissenschaften fühlte ich mich unsicher und wusste nicht, welchen Weg ich einschlagen sollte. Offene Fragerunde und Gespräche. Museum der Traditionen und Legenden. All dies wird auf einfache, ansprechende und leicht verständliche Weise vermittelt.
We really enjoyed this walking tour with Leon, he is very knowledgeable about the history of Leon and Nicaragua in general and took us to very interesting places. We learned a lot about the revolution and Nicaragua's history- highly recommend!
Having already joined Leo's general walking tour, I knew I wanted to learn more. I did this tour after taking the Essential Walking Tour of León, which provided a great introduction to the city’s traditional foods at a local market, as well as the history, and art of Nicaragua and León. That tour offered a great overview of the city in the past and present. The Essential Revolution Tour takes you much deeper into León’s past. This tour stand out to me from many other walking tours I’ve done because it brings history to life by taking you directly to the places where important events occurred. With the explanation from the guide and pictures or murals as reference of the past, you can almost feel the history that happened there. A real highlight of the tour was a 10-15 minute conversation with someone who took part of the revolution. Our guide, Leonel, is also an exceptional storyteller. He presents the information in a clear, structured way that makes the tour easy to follow. It’s clear he is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject! The tour also takes you to places you would likely never discover on your own. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone interested in history or for those who simply want to learn more about León roots.
