We’d rate this tour around 2–3 out of 5. While the guide was friendly and clearly made an effort, he wasn’t actually the guide we were originally supposed to have, which may have affected the overall experience. It was also quite noticeable that he isn’t originally from Granada. The tour felt very scripted, as if he had memorized information rather than sharing deeper, personal insight or local knowledge. Because of this, the experience lacked authenticity and the kind of engaging storytelling you’d hope for in a walking tour of such a historic city. We were hoping to hear more unique perspectives, local anecdotes, or spontaneous recommendations, but instead it felt more like a recitation of facts. Overall, it wasn’t a bad tour, but it didn’t stand out either. With a bit more personal connection to the city and a less scripted approach, it could be much more enjoyable.
