Hi, my name is Ben.
I previously used to work in IT, but now I'm a full-time Tourist Guide! I'm a licensed professional tourist guide and I have guided thousands of people all around Malta. I'm also 100% Maltese, born & raised here.
I love meeting new people and showing them around my country of Malta.
I usually adapt to the audience, but I usually intersperse history, current Maltese culture, and what the Maltese people think & feel, together with recommendations for places to eat & drink (usually my favourite spots ;) ).
Marco never showed up. We waited and waited. I think we saw someone that kept circling around with a badge on, but he must have seen we were just two couples and blew us off. Not a good look. Wasted our time walking all the way from the ship. Loved Palermo without the guide. Don’t bother with Marco. No communication. Bah!
This was a very informative walking tour. We learnt so much about the knights and saw some interesting places. Ben did incredibly well despite the awful weather! Finding shelter where he could. As we finished the heavens well and truly opened and we literally ran to shelter in a bar! It was a shame as I felt we didn't thank Ben properly, we gave him a tip and ran. Thank you for a great walking tour.
Ben explained things will, he was very knowledgeable and tried to find us shelter when it rained. His tip of getting cocathedral tickets online was excellent as we bypassed a long queue in the rain.
