Ich bin Barrie – ich lebe seit sechs Jahren in Lancaster. Ich komme ursprünglich aus London, bin viel gereist und habe mehrere Jahre in Südostasien gelebt. Mittlerweile bin ich fasziniert von der Geschichte von Lancaster – meiner Wahlheimat. Es hat eine gewaltige Vergangenheit, die ich gerne mit Ihnen teilen möchte. Ein altes Schloss, eine besondere Nationalhymne, ein Gefängnis, das in Bezug auf Hinrichtungen, religiöse Verfolgungen, Sklaverei und Industrie nach dem Tower of London die zweitgrößte Stadt war – ich zeige Ihnen die verschiedenen Seiten der Stadt.
Thoroughly enjoyed Barry's tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and full of local stories that always provide insight to the city. The route was quite manageable and did a good mix of the city highlights.
