The City Walk Agency wurde im Sommer 2014 gegründet und entwickelte sich schnell zu einem sehr beschäftigten Reiseveranstalter, an dem jeden Monat mehr Gäste teilnahmen, zusammen mit einem wachsenden Team weiser und witziger Isländer. Unser Hauptaugenmerk liegt heute noch auf der „kostenlosen“ klassischen Tour, einer kostenlosen Wanderung in Reykjavík, die so charakteristisch ist, dass sie häufig in Blogs, im Fernsehen, in Zeitungen und in allen Arten von sozialen Medien vorgestellt wird. Darüber hinaus wurden wir nicht nur aufgrund der Qualität, sondern auch des Preises als die beste Tour in Island eingestuft. Darüber hinaus führen wir eine Kneipentour durch, eine Tour, die die finanziellen Themen untersucht, die Island berühmt gemacht haben, und wir erhalten auch viele private Anfragen für benutzerdefinierte Touren. Unser Team von einladenden lokalen Guides wurde von anderen Reisenden auf TripAdvisor aufgrund ihrer Professionalität und Liebe zum Detail hoch bewertet und empfohlen. Zarah was very entertaining with a great sense of humour. She kept the group engaged and provided an insight into both historical and contemporary life in Iceland.
I receive a email confirming my tour at 1:30 am saying the tour was on. I set out on the day at 9:30 am and Marteinn emailed me at 10:10 am to cancel the 1:30 pm tour. I did not have access to my email so I did see the cancelation. My group of four showed up and Marteinn was in the middle of another tour passing by where our tour was suppose to begin in the rain. We stood there for at least ten minutes as two city walker tours went by, one being the one lead by Marteinn. If I had not approach him, he would have walked right by us. When I said I had a tour scheduled with him at 1:30 pm, he knew my name without me mentioning it, and told me he sent me two messages about the cancelation and continued on, even though I told he I had not received any messages. His quick response was not appreciated since he had made us wait between 10 to 15 minutes in the rain before our interaction. I did find a message on WhatsApp from him and we conversed on WhatsApp. He told me the email from CityWalkers was not from him even though a quote attributed to him was on the email. We continue our discussion on WhatsApp, we moved on from dealing with him without going on a tour.
Very enjoyable tour. Interesting and light hearted and answered everyone's questions.
Great walking tour...we have done several in other cities and this was definitely up with the best. Highly recommended.
