My two friends and I booked to go on the Free Walking Tour, Florence, after booking with the same company in Venice. Our guide, Daniel, a native of Florence and an Arts Conservator ! It felt like he was walking us through a story rather than simply pointing out areas of interest. He offered plenty of advice regarding the best places to eat and directions, as well as taking his time to explain everything in detail (going over time, but none of us wanted it to end!). You could tell he was passionate about the arts and his heritage. For me, Daniel and this tour was the highlight of my trip to Italy. The best.
