Ich bin Schotte, bin in der Nähe von Glasgow aufgewachsen und habe den Großteil meines Lebens in Schottland verbracht. Ich reise aber auch gerne international. Ich habe über 50 Länder bereist und lebe seit über drei Jahren im Ausland. Ich habe mich schon immer für andere Länder, ihre Geschichte, Gesellschaft, Kultur und Menschen interessiert. Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, Besuchern in Edinburgh etwas über mein Heimatland zu erzählen und ihnen zu einem angenehmen und interessanten Aufenthalt zu verhelfen.
Iain was wonderful! He could grab our attention with questions, not only monologues, for example. He brought recent news and information to parallel it with our travel in time. Although he doesn't have a card reader with him, he offered an online payment method through his site.
Iain’s knowledge of Scottish history and how in intertwined with English and other countries was excellent. His passion shined through and made it a very interesting angle to see Edinburgh. Really enjoyed the tour.
As the sole participant, I got a personalized tour of the city, the Scottish history, and some of the current events in the country. Iain is a very knowledgable, kind, and funny tour guide, one of the best I had. He asked what I was interested in, and focused the whole tour around that, answered specific questions. It was like a private tutor. At the end of the tour he even showed me the inside of the Scottish parlament, which is a magnificent piece of architecture. I recommend him for anyone who is interested in the history and the people of the city.

We really appreciated how you involved us, let us choose areas of history we were curious about, and made it interactive.
