This tour was absolutley excellent! we couldnt of asked for more. our guide Nathan was so knowledgeable and we learnt so so much that we never would of known otherwise- invaluable! bo kaap is so much more than gorgeous, its a really special community with so much behind it. totally reccomend!

I’m so glad I took the Colonialism to Democracy tour with Rubin. He is incredibly knowledgeable and I learned so much about the history of Cape Town and South Africa. We visited many historically significant locations that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about. I especially appreciated that he kept the appointment after the other 2 participants cancelled. He even spent extra time with me to make sure he covered all topics. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Our Bo Kaap group tour turned out to be more or less a private tour since a few couples canceled last min..and we have Bridget to guide us. She is very knowledgeable, informative and detailed oriented individual. Telling us the people who lived here since the1600s til the present time, walked us through most of the iconic mosques in the area and the colorful neighborhood and seeing some of their art works left behind. We will definitely recommend her tour to anyone who is interested in this part of the city WS&AS San Francisco

The tour with Mr Muhammad was very personalized and relaxed. We were welcomed with warm hugs into people’s homes and learned about community initiatives taking place. Our guide himself is a piece of history as he and his family are from Bokaap, therefore the storytelling was fascinating. Muhammed’s knowledge was vast and he was able to answer any questions we had. The tour gave us a good understanding and appreciation of a very unique and vibrant place and community and we appreciate all the time given to us. Highly recommend.

Super interesting tour! Rushdi was an excellent guide, he told us about the history of Cape Town and showed us the main areas of the centre of Cape Town as well as answered all of our questions. He was also very kind to recommend us typical restaurants and markets as well as other recommendations. Highly recommended tour to get to know the most important features of Cape Town.

It was a great experience! Nathan was not only informative but also very nice and fun. He explained all details, city, political and culture, as we walked. He even got us some typical pastries. He also helped me to get some souvenirs when I wasn't confortable going alone. Very nice person! I would choose him again!!

I would highly recommend Rushdi to anyone looking to do a tour of Cape Town. He gave a ‘warts and all’ tour, explaining key points in history and what makes the City so unique and diverse. He was friendly and engaging, tailoring the focus to our interests. If I ever bring friends back to CT, I will be booking back with Rushdi!
