I had already heard good things but this tour did not disappoint. Dave lived through some of the recent violent history of El Salvador and he is passionate about explaining this past as well as showing visitors the almost miraculous rejuvenation which is in progress. We also got a brief summary of pre-Hispanic history at an excellent museum and he filled it all out with tips about where to eat and what to say as a local. Highly recommended.

We had the absolute pleasure of exploring El Salvador with Dave as our guide, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. His deep knowledge of the country’s history, culture, and political landscape—both past and present—was truly eye-opening. We wandered through vibrant markets, soaked in the local atmosphere, and even paused for a fun ice cream break at McDonald's and ice cold horchata at the National Library of El Salvador.
