Als Skopyaner der fünften Generation fühle ich mich sehr leidenschaftlich für meine Stadt und möchte sie den ausländischen Besuchern bestmöglich präsentieren. Ich besitze umfangreiches und tiefes Wissen über die Kultur, Tradition und Geschichte von Skopje, seine Orte, Menschen, Gebäude usw., die ich mit unseren Gästen teilen und einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen möchte, um ihnen einen Grund zu geben, wiederzukommen nochmal. Ich bin viel gereist und die Idee zu dieser Aktivität kam während meines Aufenthalts in Santiago de Chile, wo ich arbeitete und lebte.
Alexander is super friendly and very casual. He shared a lot of his personal opinions which was great but we lacked some more cultural and historic context.
I have done many Guru tours across the world. Aleksandar has been one of the finest tour guides I have ever encountered. He made everyone welcome, remembered everyone’s name and took time to answer everyone’s questions. He was so knowledgeable about his own country but also explaining comparisons so we could put things into context. He told us about his beloved country with all its beauty but also told us about its recent developments. Sociology, geography, art, politics, architecture,wars and religion- he introduced to it all. I could have listened to him all day. I cannot recommend Aleksander enough and look forward to meeting him again on our return- not only was he generous of knowledge but also of spirit. Thank you.
Alexander offers a very "naked" look at the city he lives in, telling you the history and the recent events just as they are. No sugarcoating, no trying to sell it to you. You go, you learn, you enjoy... and I for one appreciate it like that.
