Free Walking Tours Spain wurde von Ian gegründet, der nach mehreren Jahren als freiberuflicher Reiseleiter in Europa beschloss, seine eigenen Touren mit einer neuen Philosophie zu beginnen: Qualitätsreisen anzubieten, seinen Kunden den historischen Reichtum der Stadt zu entdecken, ohne die Gegenwart zu vergessen . Mit mehr als 5 Jahren Erfahrung und tausend positiven Kommentaren im Internet arbeiten wir weiterhin mit fachkundigen Führern zusammen, die die Stadt respektieren und leidenschaftlich daran interessiert sind, die besten Geschichten und Ecken der Stadt zu vermitteln. Nach drei Jahren Tour in Barcelona haben wir beschlossen, unsere Touren auch in Madrid zu eröffnen!
The free tours (please tip) with local guides are always a winner. Our tour guide, Miguel, is an enthusiastic, relatable, knowledgeable & humorous guide. He makes the history of Madrid alive, along with some interesting extra tidbits. He also gave us various local tips on areas to visit, places to eat/drink, meal times, culture etc. He answered many questions which were asked in detail. Do the tour at the beginning of your stay so you can plan with better insight and go back to the places that interest you and those you might have otherwise missed simply because you didn't know about them. Highly recommended.

I joined the Free Walking Tour Madrid and absolutely loved it! Our guide was super knowledgeable, funny, and made the city’s history come alive with great stories and hidden details you wouldn’t find on your own. The tour covered all the main spots — Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace area — and also gave us local tips for food and things to do.
