Ferhat was a great guide and we had a good time with him. It was a mix between a guided tour and being with a friend who makes us discover his city. Ferhat loves the neighborhood he makes us discover, which makes the visit really interesting.

Huseyn went above and beyond! He showed us some good placds during the tour, and also helped us after. Always willing to also help other visitors to Istanbul, who were not affiliated with his tour.

We had the honor to be the first visitors for this special tour :-) Hatice was very nice, informative and easy to talk to! We asked her so many questions about her culture that she will probably hate us eheh.. You will see nice spots and interesting, uncommon places!

Grande, grandissimo! Abbiamo partecipato al tour di Mertkan come famiglia e ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. Egli conosce molto bene la storia della città ed è molto interessato a raccontarla. È anche gentile e amichevole, ci ha detto che possiamo chiamarlo in qualsiasi momento se abbiamo domande. Consiglio vivamente il tour di Mertkan!!

Muhammed has been a great guide. It has been a nice guide tour. He's a newly father, full of energy and enthusiasm. You could really see he loves his job.

It was like a lovely walk with a local friend. There were only two of us who came for the tour, and Hatice was very flexible with the route, but in agreement with our wishes. It was raining, and to wait in a dry place till the rain would stop we went to a mosque where Hatice told us about the architecture of the building, symbols and traditions of Islam. She took great pictures of us too. Then we walked to Balat, which is a lovely colourful district. We haf nice conversations on the way, Hatice was friendly, told us interesting facts, shared her personal experience, so Istanbul feels a bit less foreign after this tour.
We recommend it!

This tour took us to the less visited Asian part with Hüseyin. I would CallKits a atmosphere / foodie tour and it delivered. The vibe on the Asian side is much different and whilst there is less sights of historical importance there is a lot of nice views, interesting shops and lastly a lot of food to be tested. A say well spent for us and we highly recommend

Very pleased that we joined this tour! Emre showed us the highlights of the Old City and was very knowledgeable of the historical sights that he showed us. The hidden gem was amazing as well! He made it fun and the pace was very good! He gave us valuable tips as well on Istanbul and answered questions - where to eat, what not to miss, and what to avoid. Thank you Emre for a Friday afternoon well spent!
