Free walking tours Geschichte in Manchester

Excellent walking tour! We visited what we considered the highlights of the city. Megan was high energy, very friendly and engaging. We got lots of information about the city and lots of interesting facts and 'quotes'. Pace was good, amount of information provided was plentiful without being overwhelming. 3 hours flew by and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend!!🤩

This tour is absolutely first class. Knowledgeable local guides with a thorough understanding of the city and its history.

Love how passionate and entertaining Mike was talking about the different periods of his beloved city. I didn't know how influential Manchester has been in world's history near and far, apart from the music (and football, obvs ;-p). He is so knowledgeable. The tour is the tip of an iceberg of the data he can hold, and if you ask him, he will tell you about details of the city you never imagined too! We walked also through places we would have not gone or passed by and told us stories about them. His jokes the way keeps it light in nature, and he is truly a great and engaging story teller. Absolutely worth booking. Just dress accordingly. We were lucky with the weather but, it is as a good idea to bring boots and mittens as it can get cold.

Loved the tour with our guide Megan, she was a wonderful storyteller, very knowledgeable and engaging. We really enjoyed learning more about Manchester’s history. Obviously not everything can be included on a 3hr tour, but we were happy with the chosen points of interest. Would definitely recommend.

Hannah fue estupenda! Fue muy interesante y agradable, nos contó historia y también pudimos debatir acerca de cómo considerábamos la ciudad Fue súper enriquecedor y volvería a repetir

Hannah's historical talk took us through the five ages of Manchester, from Romans naming the city after a pair of boobs, through to its prosperity at the heart of industrial England's cotton trade, and on to the Madchester years initially bouyed by and then sunk by ecstasy. Hannah was both informative and fun, and despite the occasional cloudburst, she kept us all engaged, once with a Vimto themed song and dance routine. Highly recommended!

I was very satisfied, never bored and got information that was unexpected. It was fun to walk through Manchester in a large group, even though it was slightly raining. Mike ensured we were all safe, even on the other side of the road.

George was very informative and entertaining. Walk was well worthwhile to cover Manchester's history and important places. Only downside was the wet weather. Not George's fault!! He was great. Answered all our questions.

EXCELLENT!!! George, our tour guide was outstanding! Before joining this tour, I always thought that Manchester is a gloomy industrial city … It still is, BUT this tour brightened it up and in less than 3 hours we discovered amazing parts of the town, alongside historical facts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
