We had a fantastic free tour through Nairobi. Our guide was super friendly, about our age, and has been running tours for seven years. He’s also the German Embassy’s direct point of contact in Kenya for guided tours, which gave us extra confidence.
Since Nairobi is known as a city where tourists are advised not to walk around alone, safety was especially important to us. We felt safe with him the entire time. He knows the city and its streets inside out and led us confidently through downtown and uptown, from the busiest, most chaotic areas to calmer corners. Along the way, he told us a lot about the colonial buildings and the city’s history.
The tour is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Nairobi safely and with fascinating stories.
