Excellent tour, Ferhet was super knowledgeable showed us lots of great food places at different price points. We tried lots of great food along the way and have lots of recommendations here and all over the city for the rest of our trip! Would definitely recommend!!

I really highly recommend Ferhat as your guide to the wonderful foodie world of Kadıköy! Thanks to his tour, I felt like I got a really good grasp of the iconic dishes and food spots in the area. Ferhat didn’t just introduce us to the food, he also shared the history and stories behind the various dishes and establishments, which made the experience much more interesting and memorable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about both food and Kadıköy, and he kindly took the time to answer all of our questions, whether they were about Turkish cuisine, the history of the neighbourhood, or simply where to find the best things to eat. You can really tell that he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion comes through throughout the entire tour. The food itself was fantastic, and having someone like Ferhat guide us meant we got to experience Kadıköy in a much deeper way than we would have on our own. I also appreciated how relaxed and friendly he was, which made the whole tour feel more like exploring the neighbourhood with a knowledgeable local friend than being on a typical tourist tour. If you're a foodie visiting Istanbul and want to discover the flavours, stories and hidden gems of Kadıköy, I definitely recommend booking a tour with Ferhat.

I was the only one on the tour but Ferhat still made the effort to do the tour with me. We talked about street food and trendy places in kadıköy and had lots of opportunities to try different dishes. i really like the Islak burger, simple and satisfying. i could definitely see myself eating it as a hangover cure haha. I also got some good recommendations for restaurants as well. I’m excited to try Tartar Salim when I get a chance! Overall great tour and such a cool place to do it!

Je recommande vraiment ce food tour, surtout si comme moi vous êtes un peu perdus et que vous ne savez pas forcément quoi goûter ou où aller à Istanbul ! Le guide m’a fait découvrir plein de spécialités du côté asiatique que je n’aurais probablement jamais découvertes seule. Il ne fait pas que vous faire goûter : il explique ce que vous mangez, comment ça se mange, le contexte autour des plats, où aller manger et surtout il donne plein de petits tips super utiles. J’ai tellement aimé que je suis même retournée après la visite dans certains endroits pour goûter à nouveau les choses qu’il m’avait conseillées avant mon départ ! C’est vraiment le genre de visite qui permet de découvrir la Turquie autrement et de repartir avec de vraies adresses et de bonnes idées. Une super expérience, j’ai vraiment beaucoup aimé et je recommande à 100 % !

Amazing tour! We opted to try the food ferhat taught us about at most of the stops so we used the tour as our dinner. We learned so much about Turkish food history and culture. Delicious and so interesting! One of my favorite walking tours i’ve been on

Ferhat was great with communication prior. His English was excellent and he left us with no questions. There was no pressure to purchase, he took account of our wishes all along the tour and even informed us about the best toilets to visit. I really enjoyed this tour. We went at lunch time and this made it less crowded then it would be later on the Sunday evening.

Ferhat was great! He took us to local spots, gave us some background information about each dish and how much we could expect to pay as a local. It was a great introduction to the Turkish food culture and we tried several dishes and restaurants we wouldn't have tried otherwise. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ferhat was a competent guide and explained the popular Turkish foods in the area. Maybe a bigger group size would have helped as there were only 4 of us and inclusion of some local history. It was worth doing to explore the area of Kadikoy.

Ferhat was great. We were running. A little late but he made time for us and gave a great personal tour. My wife is vegetarian so he made sure to point out foods and places she may like to eat. We learnt a lot about Turkish foods, some weird facts but all lots of fun

A fantastic experience! The tour was an amazing way to discover Istanbul's gastronomy and culture. We tasted delicious and authentic dishes that I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and shared fascinating stories about the city and its culinary traditions. Definitely a must-do activity for anyone visiting Istanbul and wanting to experience it through its flavors. Highly recommended! :)

Ferrat was wonderful and the trip exceeded expectations. We went on an expensive Viator food tour before this on the European side and it was just as good if not better. Highly recommend !
