Free Walking Tours at Dubai

Fantastic walking tour! Abdalla was patient when we were late and spent a lot of time helping us find great deals in the souks. The information shared was really interesting and entertaining! Riding the boat was nice and Abdallah ensured we stopped at shady/cool places along the way. Definitely recommend this walking tour for anybody!

Despite the intense heat and being the only one signed up, Taha graciously showed up and gave me a fantastic tour of the old town. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the country’s history, geography, and local life—especially about the workers who shape the city. His English was excellent (he also speaks German), and his insights were both engaging and informative. Taha went above and beyond: generously treating me to drinks and shawarma, and even taking me to a spice shop in the old souk. He’s not just a guide—he’s a storyteller, a host, and a genuinely kind person. Highly recommend this tour!

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Mansoor. He’s a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide. Learning about the history of The UAE and Dubai was very interesting. I particularly enjoyed the boat ride across the Dubai Creek - that was a nice touch. He also has a lot of tips for buying goods at the souks if anyone is interested.

Abdullah was charismatic and kind. He was always finding places to cool off from the hot sun. He was knowledgeable about Dubai and its culture and history. It makes for a nice afternoon, away from the glitz and glamour. It’s also nice to not be approached by every vendor in the market. They are much more chill with a guide present.

Great tour definitely worth the booking. It is very comprehensive, giving you all the info you need in the old quarters of Dubai. The history of the nation, information about the daily life of citizens and the population of dubai, the souks, everything. One great thing was that Hesham even gives you price information on the goods you might want to buy, so it is really amazing to get recommendations from him. One other amazing was that we frequently went into places with AC (these places being museums sometimes as well that we would not have gone in otherwise), so the heat becomes bearable. Highly recommended, you should not leave Dubai without attending this tour.

From the time I booked the tour till the end, Hesham was very professional, informative & engaging. He kept me informed through the Guru Walk App about relative information. He did a great job with keeping the group as cool as possible on such a very hot day by visiting air-conditioned or shaddy areas. He knew every person's name right from the beginning of the tour and kept us all engaged with relevant information which he included us all in , asking for our answers to questions or comments.
