I had a fantastic experience exploring Dar es Salaam with Rashid. Highly recommended! It was like spending time with a good friend ♥️Rashid shared both historical info and local curiosities, we learnt and seen so much ! Rashid was a wonderful guide, he showed me so much of the city, was kind and patient since the second we met up, and he slowed down or sped up the tour depending on my interests; he also spent over 3hours with me. I really appreciated that he made me feel safe exploring as solo traveler.

Rashid was absolutely incredible! We learnt soooo much about the history and culture of Tanzania. The places he took us too were so authentic to the local lived experiences of the people of Dar Es Salaam and he made the whole experience so rich with the stories and context he provided us. I booked a full-day tour with Rashid, and he used our time in the best possible way. He showed me the most famous sights, but also mingled our tour with the local day-to-day life in Dar es Salaam. As I am living in Tanzania, I already know many things about the country’s history, but Rashid was still able to add many interesting facts. He is especially knowledgeable about the different tribes in Tanzania and their characteristics. I could decide on the pace of the tour and how many different places I wanted to see. As soon as I come back to Dar es Salaam, I will book another tour with Rashid so I don’t miss the many more stories he has to tell. Hongera sana!

We are two students from the netherlands and really really enjoyed the tour with Rashid. He explained us a lot about the history of Tanzania and little fun facts.
