¡Hola a todos! Me llamo Kasia. ¡Qué gusto conocerlos! Antes de comenzar el recorrido, me gustaría contarles algunas cosas sobre mí. Soy de Polonia, nací y crecí aquí en Cracovia. Sin embargo, en 2008 me mudé a Londres por un tiempo, donde pasé la mayor parte del tiempo trabajando en campos relacionados con el turismo: gastronomía, hostelería e incluso un museo. Más tarde, en 2018, me gradué en la Universidad de Middlesex en Londres con un título en Gestión Turística Internacional. Mientras estudiaba, me encontré con la idea de los free tours y me encantó. Ya por aquel entonces, soñaba con ser guía turística; mis tutores y amigos solían decir que tenía un don natural para la gente y que me encantaba compartir historias. Aun así, elegí desarrollar una carrera en la industria hotelera primero. El turismo y conectar con los viajeros siempre han estado cerca de mi corazón. Esa es una de las razones por las que pasé tanto tiempo en el extranjero: para aprender idiomas, explorar culturas y conocer gente de todo el mundo. También me encanta viajar. En un tiempo, viví en España, cerca de Barcelona, en un pueblo llamado Sant Cugat del Vallès, donde trabajé en la industria automotriz durante unos siete meses. Hace unos meses, regresé a Polonia y me sorprendió lo mucho que ha cambiado y lo rápido que está creciendo el país. Empecé a leer más, a explorar los alrededores e incluso a apuntarme a clases de historia. Kazimierz siempre ha sido un lugar especial para mí; me encantaba venir aquí a tomar un café por la mañana o visitar el museo de la Sinagoga Vieja para descubrir más sobre la cultura y las tradiciones judías. Después de participar en tantos free tours, no solo aquí en Cracovia, sino por todo el mundo, finalmente decidí que era hora de ir más allá, como guía. Por eso creé este tour: "Esenciales Judíos 3 en 1", todo sobre la cultura judía y las atracciones más importantes relacionadas con ella aquí en Cracovia. Este tour se basa en donaciones. Katarzyna was so informative and showed us all around the Jewish area despite it being so cold. It consisted of showing us the outside of Synagogues , going inside of several restaurants which she recommended and lots of history. She knows her stuff. We were the only 2 people on the walk which was good for us but it would of been better for Katarzyna if more people used her tour which is unique to her. She was so sweet, didn't rush us and kept checking if we were not too cold. Highly recommended. Thank you .
Very interesting tour, i discovered many aspects of the WW2, i’ve seen many places that were new for me, which otherwise i never knew. Thank tou very much for an amazing tour, you’re not a typical guide. You’re a friend. You’re the best guide i ever met in Guru.
Picture the worst weather posible, heavy rain and cold night... Unfortunately, people canceled Fran's, 3 of them without notice. It was only me and Fran decided to be professional and lovely and take me alone on her tour! She was great and I am very pleased with her for doing this (another person-guide would've ditched me, but she didn't). Even with the awful weather and the late hour she explained with patience and took me to all the places. At the end she gave me some sweets (that she brought for everyone) and also a CD with historic content. People! Be nice and educated, if you are not going to show up for a tour at least have the decency to cancel it!!! Don't be ungrateful with people as amazing as Fran
