Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Kasia, è un piacere conoscervi! Prima di iniziare il tour, vorrei dire due parole su di me. Sono originaria della Polonia, nata e cresciuta qui a Cracovia. Tuttavia, nel 2008 mi sono trasferita a Londra per un periodo, dove ho trascorso la maggior parte del tempo lavorando in settori legati al turismo: gastronomia, ospitalità e persino un museo. Più tardi, nel 2018, mi sono laureata alla Middlesex University di Londra in International Tourism Management. Durante gli studi, mi sono imbattuta nell'idea dei free walking tour gratuiti e me ne sono innamorata. Già allora, sognavo di diventare una guida turistica: i miei tutor e amici dicevano spesso che avevo un modo naturale di relazionarmi con le persone e che amavo condividere storie. Ciononostante, ho scelto di costruire prima una carriera nel settore alberghiero. Il turismo e il contatto con i viaggiatori mi sono sempre stati molto a cuore. Questo è uno dei motivi per cui ho trascorso così tanto tempo all'estero: per imparare le lingue, esplorare culture e incontrare persone da tutto il mondo. Amo anche viaggiare. A un certo punto, ho vissuto in Spagna, vicino a Barcellona, in una città chiamata Sant Cugat del Vallès, dove ho lavorato nel settore automobilistico per circa sette mesi. Qualche mese fa, sono tornato in Polonia e sono rimasto stupito da quanto sia cambiato e dalla rapidità con cui il Paese sta crescendo. Ho iniziato a leggere di più, a esplorare i dintorni e ho persino frequentato alcuni corsi di storia. Kazimierz è sempre stato un posto speciale per me: adoravo venire qui per un caffè al mattino o fare un salto al museo della Vecchia Sinagoga per scoprire di più sulla cultura e le tradizioni ebraiche. Dopo aver partecipato a così tanti free walking tour gratuiti, non solo qui a Cracovia, ma in tutto il mondo, ho finalmente deciso che era ora di passare dall'altra parte, come guida. Ecco perché ho creato questo tour: "Essenziali Ebraici 3 in 1", tutto sulla cultura ebraica e sulle attrazioni più importanti ad essa collegate qui a Cracovia. Questo è un tour a donazione libera. Katarzyna was so informative and showed us all around the Jewish area despite it being so cold. It consisted of showing us the outside of Synagogues , going inside of several restaurants which she recommended and lots of history. She knows her stuff. We were the only 2 people on the walk which was good for us but it would of been better for Katarzyna if more people used her tour which is unique to her. She was so sweet, didn't rush us and kept checking if we were not too cold. Highly recommended. Thank you .
Very interesting tour, i discovered many aspects of the WW2, i’ve seen many places that were new for me, which otherwise i never knew. Thank tou very much for an amazing tour, you’re not a typical guide. You’re a friend. You’re the best guide i ever met in Guru.
Picture the worst weather posible, heavy rain and cold night... Unfortunately, people canceled Fran's, 3 of them without notice. It was only me and Fran decided to be professional and lovely and take me alone on her tour! She was great and I am very pleased with her for doing this (another person-guide would've ditched me, but she didn't). Even with the awful weather and the late hour she explained with patience and took me to all the places. At the end she gave me some sweets (that she brought for everyone) and also a CD with historic content. People! Be nice and educated, if you are not going to show up for a tour at least have the decency to cancel it!!! Don't be ungrateful with people as amazing as Fran
