We didn’t like the tour, it was too slow and it felt like the guide wasn’t really prepared for it.

I was so pleased that we went on this tour. It was a fascinating area and a contrast to the old city. Authetic and interesting.Ferhat was very knowledgeable about the area and especially the food giving many recommendations. There were many opportunities to try food throughout the tour which we all did and it was delicious.His enthusiasm for the area was obvious. I would highly recommend this tour.

It was raining and cold and a holiday (May Day), so it was only me and my husband on the tour. The tour info stated there would be no time for eating, so we ate a snack before arriving. To our surprise, we were taken to several places where we could buy a snack/sample as we walked along! The guide was very nice and informative about the local food and market and area. He took us to several restaurants/venues where we could purchase food and sample it with a few minutes to eat it. My husband particularly liked the mussells and baklava. We wished we had done this tour at the beginning of our trip to Turkey so we would understand more about the foods that were good to try. Overall, a very nice experience. (We wish the weather had been better, though.)

Ferhat did a wonderful job and guided us through Kadiköy and the local food concepts. During the tour you have multiple times the change to catch some food and try awesome things. Thanks a lot once again!
