Pom was great! We tried a bunch of dishes, most were specific to northern Thailand (no Pad Thai, papaya salad, or basil pork). We started with the food stalls (tried Chiang Mai sausage, Khao Moo, sukiyaki, a few Thai desserts, duck with rice). We would have also had Khao Soi, but we were too full and needed a break:). We then walked to a huge wholesale market where Pom gave tons of info and answered all our questions. Then headed to the last market in Chinatown where we had fermented noodles. The tour was long- lasted almost 4.5 hours - but it was great!
John was engaging and well versed in the history of Chiang Mai. Would highly recommend!
