Nací y crecí en Edimburgo, con un gran interés por la historia local y las estructuras políticas y sociales que moldearon Edimburgo y Escocia. Estudié historia y política en la Universidad de Aberdeen y también completé una titulación de guía turístico en el Edinburgh College. Sin embargo, mi pasión por la ciudad va más allá de lo académico; me encanta contar la historia de sus habitantes y cómo la ciudad misma influyó en sus comportamientos y vidas. Actualmente vivo en Edimburgo con mi esposa y mis dos hijos. Disfruto explorando la ciudad, apoyando a uno de los equipos de fútbol locales y explorando sus numerosos y maravillosos pubs.

Stuart is a great guide, you can tell he studied history and has a lot of passion for his city. He ends every story with a cliffhanger for the next stop. Not only did he have amazing knowledge about the topic of the horrible past of Edinburgh he also knows a lot about general Scottish history. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend a walk around Edinburgh with Stuart. We will never look the same at any graveyard.
Superb walk with Stuart - we were particularly impressed by how knowledgeable he was, the quality of the tour was excellent thanks to his very well informed and engaging talk. Highly recommend him. It was such a good introduction to Edinburgh for us.
