Sono nato e cresciuto a Edimburgo, con un forte interesse per la storia locale e le strutture politiche e sociali che hanno plasmato Edimburgo e la Scozia. Ho studiato storia e politica all'Università di Aberdeen e ho anche conseguito un'ulteriore qualifica come guida turistica presso l'Edinburgh College. La mia passione per la città va oltre l'ambito accademico; amo raccontare la storia dei suoi abitanti e come la città stessa abbia plasmato i loro comportamenti e le loro vite. Attualmente vivo a Edimburgo con mia moglie e i miei due figli. Mi piace esplorare la città, tifare per una delle squadre di calcio locali ed esplorare i numerosi e meravigliosi pub della città.
Very informative and well-presented tour; knowledgeable, friendly and professional guide. His storytelling left me feeling transported back in time, it was inspiring. I definitely recommend the tour and would be interested in longer tours by Stuart if I was in the area! I visited the Surgeon's Hall Museum after which certainly fit the theme and I would also recommend.
