I really enjoyed this walking tour. The tour lasted around 3 hours, and the group was very small (only 4 people) which made the experience much more comfortable and personal. The tour was interesting, well-paced, and enjoyable even despite the heat. Laziz, the guide, was very thoughtful and always made sure we could stop in the shade or in comfortable places, which was really important and made a big difference. I also really appreciated the extra local recommendations - places to visit after the tour, where to buy stuff, and where to eat. It’s always great to get advice from a local, and it made my stay in Samarkand even better. Thank you for such a pleasant and informative experience!
The tour was very interesting and the guide was very funny. He was very funny and making a lot of stops according to the group needs. One small thing is that the tour could have been shorter if the guide was more concise in his explanation. But that’s a personal feeling.
The tour was perfect! Fayoziddin led us through five different locations, providing historical and cultural context for each one to help us understand the complex and layered history of Samarkand. As we had no prior knowledge of Central Asian history, Fayoziddin helped us to understand what we were seeing; without this tour, we would have been completely lost. Fayoziddin was an excellent guide. The tour was about four hours long, and he was very respectful of our needs, such as WC breaks, food and time to take pictures. It really felt like an hour!
Tour was good, we covered main sites with a lot of information (mostly history) for guests who don't have previous knowledge about central asian history/leaders etc it is more difficult to understand and connect the facts during the tour. But sites and guide were good.
