We had a wonderful walking tour in Samarkand with Fayoziddin. He is extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly well-read, and explained the history and significance of each of the five sites we visited in great detail. He is also very friendly and funny, which made the tour relaxed and enjoyable. The walk was well paced, he gave us plenty of time at every stop to ask questions and click photos without feeling rushed. His storytelling and explanations truly brought Samarkand’s rich past to life. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an insightful, engaging, and enjoyable walking tour of Samarkand.

We really appreciated how she carried a heavy folder full of old photos to help us visualize how the city looked in the past — such a thoughtful touch.
