He tenido una larga carrera como ingeniero, servicio militar, policía, empresario, juez, así que tengo algunas historias. Desde que me jubilé hace unos siete años, me formé como actor y luego comencé como guía de gira hace unos cinco años. We had a fantastic walkabout with Gordon. He was very personable, extremely entertaining and knowledgeable. It was very apparent that he loved his city and enjoyed imparting his knowledge to others. Gordon kept us very engaged in the history of Glasgow with a touch of good humour laced with facts and historical events. A very worthwhile tour.
We booked a tour as we always like to get to know a place we are visiting with local knowledge. We learnt quite a bit of the back story of Glasgow including the Industrial revolution, tobacco trade and many other things. The tour is for two hours but there is probably no more than 25 mins actual walking involved. Ian was great as a host and we would definitely recommend any tour he does.
The renovation/repair work in the city center spoiled our tour.
