Ho avuto una lunga carriera come ingegnere, servizio militare, poliziotto, uomo d'affari, giudice quindi ho alcune storie. Da quando sono andato in pensione circa sette anni fa, mi sono formato come attore e poi ho iniziato a fare la guida turistica circa cinque anni fa. Amo molto la mia città e mi diverto molto ad esplorarla con gli ospiti e sorprenderli.
Gordon was very informative and entertaining
Ian was a great host for the tour. BUT we take objection to it being advertised as a FREE walking tour where we tip our host at the end BUT in fact when you book you get an email outlining the expectation to pay a minimum of £15 per person and the guide also demands this at the start and end. I would prefer to pay as advertised and based on my opinion of the experience. I in fact may have paid more if I hadn’t been asked for the minimum amount. POOR FORM.
We had a great time in Glasgow! :) Our trip to Glasgow was a bit short, so we wanted to maximize our time there by joining the walking tour. Gordon gave us the information through text, but he made a tiny mistake as he informed us that the guide would wear the yellow vest - except Luke, our guide, was wearing the green one. Despite the tiny mistake, we really enjoyed the walking tour with Luke. We've learned the history of Glasgow, and even got some resto recommendations. After the tour, we stopped by Val Doro Restaurant for lunch and I could vouch for it too if you're in for a treat after the tour! :)
I liked the tour a lot! Marty knows lots of things about history and has a good taste of humor. The only problem I had and would like to be considered is I missed 1/3 of the info because of the quick and Scottish-accent talking (I'm Greek) so everybody can have a good experience! Beside that everything was perfect! Thanks Marty ✌️
