Emmanuel es mi nombre y nací y crecí en James Town British Accra. Llevo casi trece años ejerciendo como Guía Turístico profesional y sigo ejerciendo como guía profesional. Me gusta guiar a los turistas a través de la historia completa de mi comunidad, me gusta leer y también me gusta enseñar a los niños pequeños a leer y escribir bien en inglés.
Emmanuel had a deep level of knowledge of Jamestown and all the history of it. We visited many different places and met many of the local people on the tour. We didn't see any fishing as advertised and the walk was 4hr 30mins rather than 2hr 30mins as I was told. Overall I would highly recommend doing the tour with Emmanuel.
Es war super spannend mehr über die Ga-People zu erfahren. Emmanuel ist selbst Teil der Community und es ist schön diese Identifikation zu erfahren. Für einen Tour-Guide hätte ich mir manchmal etwas mehr Rollenklarheit gewünscht im Sinne von einer professionellen Distanz in bestimmten Situationen. Für meine Teenager-Tochter war es zum Beispiel eher unangenehm, dass sie irgendwelchen Männern die Hand geben sollte und diese dann sehr den Körperkontakt gesucht haben.

The guide Emmanuel is super professional, he takes you through a unique route you wouldn't have access otherwise. I learned so much about the Ghanaian people and their culture.
