Mein Name ist Emmanuel und ich bin in James Town, British Accra, geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich arbeite seit fast dreizehn Jahren als professioneller Reiseführer und bin immer noch als solcher tätig. Ich führe Touristen gerne durch die Geschichte meiner Gemeinde, lese gern und bringe kleinen Kindern auch gerne gutes Englisch bei.
Emmanuel had a deep level of knowledge of Jamestown and all the history of it. We visited many different places and met many of the local people on the tour. We didn't see any fishing as advertised and the walk was 4hr 30mins rather than 2hr 30mins as I was told. Overall I would highly recommend doing the tour with Emmanuel.
Es war super spannend mehr über die Ga-People zu erfahren. Emmanuel ist selbst Teil der Community und es ist schön diese Identifikation zu erfahren. Für einen Tour-Guide hätte ich mir manchmal etwas mehr Rollenklarheit gewünscht im Sinne von einer professionellen Distanz in bestimmten Situationen. Für meine Teenager-Tochter war es zum Beispiel eher unangenehm, dass sie irgendwelchen Männern die Hand geben sollte und diese dann sehr den Körperkontakt gesucht haben.
Well prepared and very kind guide, exciting and insightful tour of James Town
The guide Emmanuel is super professional, he takes you through a unique route you wouldn't have access otherwise. I learned so much about the Ghanaian people and their culture.
