Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and eager to take questions. He set a comfortable pace with stops for photos when we asked and offered some options to see at the end of the tour. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.

Emmanuel is a kind, well versed, local Ga who made the tour through his own neighborhood great. We started at Jamestown Cafe and discussed so much...Ga songs and language, naming conventions, royal houses and meaning of symbols, festivals, native dress, seeing kenkey made and heron smoked for preservation, the oldest district in Accra, British Accra vs Dutch Accra, colonial history, fishing district and Chinese impact now, slave history including tunnels to the beach, Ussher Fort, popularity of boxing, JamesTown Lighthouse, and literally meeting many locals and learning their exact lives. Ghanians are kind and fun.
