Sameer gave a brilliant tour of the fort, the Jain temples, and the old city including the Havellis. He was really interesting, very personal and friendly, and his English was extremely good. It was a great way to see Jaisalmer and hear about the history and local culture. He is very knowledgeable about religions, having studied them, which was interesting to hear about. The tour is quite long (up to 4 hours) but it was worth it.
Das war eine sehr informative und professionelle Tour. Sameer hatte eine gute Mischung aus Information, Spaziergang und Zeit für Fotoshouting. Und vor Allem gab es keinen Kaufzwang für irgendwas. Ich kann die Tour als Einstieg in Jaisalmer nur empfehlen.
Sameer was the best guide we have had in India. Sameer was very knowledgeable about the city and showed us some of the most local spots in the city. The tour really made us appreciate everything about Jaisalmer and I would highly recommend Sameer to be your guide. He’s also had good banter which is always a bonus.
