Hola, me llamo Luis y soy profesor de Geografía e Historia, guía turístico, pero también hablo sobre la historia canaria en la radio y la televisión locales.
Tengo una cuenta popular de Instagram, @historiaparagandules, donde tengo muchos vídeos que muestran los principales lugares históricos de la isla. Actualmente estoy cursando un máster en Historia Contemporánea y el grado en Derecho.
Mi primera experiencia trabajando en turismo fue durante mi Erasmus en Martinica, mostrando la ciudad y el Fuerte Saint Louis, una fortaleza del siglo XVII.
Lo que más disfruto de enseñar mi ciudad es todo lo que aprendo sobre la historia y la arquitectura del casco antiguo, pero sobre todo la oportunidad de conocer gente de todos los rincones del mundo.
Luis is very passionate about the history of not just the capital of Gran Canaria (Las Palmas) and the Canary Islands, but also of Spain. He kept us all informed and interested in the history, architecture and culture of Las Palmas. He provided excellent tips, advice and insight for the rest of our day and trip on the island. Luis showed us hidden gems which we would not have found for ourselves. Highly recommended!
