Hello, my name is Luis and I am a geography and history teacher, but I also work as a tour guide. My first time working with tourism was during my ERASMUS in Martinique, showing foreign visitors around town and Fort Saint Louis, a 17th century fortress.
Wow. Luis went above and beyond to ensure this was a successful tour. Some memories will stay with me forever. I was impressed by the visit to the college, garden and the historic hotel room. Mostly, it was just a very enjoyable time. I do wish Luis had been properly rewarded for his time by the participants of the tour. 2.50 euros per hour per person is probably way too little for a good tour.

Luis is the beat tour guide that you can wish for! He is funny, intelligent and supportive! He gave us wonderful recommendations for the entire island! History sounded like a fairytale! ♥️
Full points ! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Luis ! He showed us interesting places and buildings and told us stories and details which we would not have found out by ourselves. We learned a lot about history of Las Palmas and Gran Canary. Luis also provided us with many tips for places, sights and restaurants to visit during our stay The QR codes were nice extra bonus !! If there were more tours in Las Palmas by Luis we would definitely participate !!
My husband and I spent a really enjoyable and informative couple of hours with Luis. He made the history of Gran Canaria and Las Palmas so interesting and fun. He was very thoughtful and bought umbrellas with him, for us, in case of rain. I didn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable asking questions and Luis had a very self deprecating sense of humour. Since the tour he has kindly sent through by WhatsApp recommendations on places to see and eat plus a lovely photo he took of the group. Do not hesitate in booking this tour - I know you’d enjoy it.
