Ciao, mi chiamo Luis e sono un insegnante di geografia e storia, una guida turistica, ma parlo anche di storia delle Canarie alla radio e in TV locali. Ho un account Instagram molto popolare, @historiaparagandules, dove pubblico molti video che mostrano i principali luoghi storici dell'isola. Attualmente sto frequentando un Master in Storia Contemporanea e una laurea triennale in Giurisprudenza, entrambi online. La mia prima esperienza nel turismo è stata durante il mio ERASMUS in Martinica, dove ho accompagnato i visitatori stranieri in giro per la città e a Fort Saint Louis, una fortezza del XVII secolo. Ciò che più mi piace del mostrare la mia città è quanto imparo sulla storia e l'architettura del centro storico, ma soprattutto l'opportunità di incontrare persone provenienti da ogni parte del mondo.
Luis is very passionate about the history of not just the capital of Gran Canaria (Las Palmas) and the Canary Islands, but also of Spain. He kept us all informed and interested in the history, architecture and culture of Las Palmas. He provided excellent tips, advice and insight for the rest of our day and trip on the island. Luis showed us hidden gems which we would not have found for ourselves. Highly recommended!
