Hallo, ich heiße Luis und bin Geografie- und Geschichtslehrer sowie Reiseleiter. Außerdem spreche ich im lokalen Radio und Fernsehen über die Geschichte der Kanarischen Inseln. Auf meinem beliebten Instagram-Account @historiaparagandules teile ich viele Videos, die die wichtigsten historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel zeigen. Derzeit absolviere ich online ein Masterstudium in Zeitgeschichte und ein Bachelorstudium in Jura. Meine ersten Erfahrungen im Tourismus sammelte ich während meines Erasmus-Aufenthalts auf Martinique, wo ich ausländischen Besuchern die Stadt und das Fort Saint Louis, eine Festung aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, zeigte. Am meisten gefällt mir an meinen Stadtführungen, wie viel ich dabei über die Geschichte und Architektur der Altstadt lerne, aber vor allem die Begegnungen mit Menschen aus aller Welt.

I was really impressed and completely won over by the guided tour. His storytelling was extremely lively and captivating, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. He used photos he had brought with him to vividly illustrate the various points of the tour, which helped me to better understand the historical and cultural context. I was particularly impressed by the videos he presented on his iPad. He had created these animations especially for the tour to bring the stories behind the sights closer to us. The combination of images and moving graphics made it easier to understand and made the information more tangible. Luis also knew how to lighten up the tour with some funny anecdotes. These little stories were not only entertaining, but also gave the tour a personal touch that made the experience unforgettable. Another highlight was the tips Luis gave us about Canarian specialties. He mentioned numerous dishes that we should definitely try and also recommended some restaurants where we could enjoy these delicacies. In summary, I can highly recommend a tour with Luis to anyone visiting Las Palmas. The mix of informative content, interactive elements, and humorous stories made this tour an absolute highlight of my stay.
