Stone Town es el centro histórico de la ciudad de Zanzíbar, la capital del archipiélago de Zanzíbar. Como puesto comercial principal en las rutas comerciales de especias, seda y esclavos durante más de un milenio, Stone Town ha sido un lugar de encuentro único, que combina las culturas africana, india, árabe y europea. Es una de las pocas ciudades antiguas que quedan en África. Su belleza y valor histórico le han valido un merecido lugar en la lista del patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO. Esta ciudad no solo es visualmente hermosa, con antiguos edificios coloniales y portales de Zanzíbar exquisitamente tallados, sino que sus sentidos se verán abrumados con el aroma del mar y las especias y las llamadas a la oración que resuenan desde los minaretes.
This tour with Ahmad was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable which made the tour super interesting. He was also more than willing to pause when we wanted to take a look at a shop and inquire about a few items. We were very pleased with Ahmad’s presentation and professionalism. Side note- my wife and I were the only two people on this tour.
Our guide was RHAMA, an extremely knowledgeable young guide who was easy to communicate with, we had a great tour. We have used Guru all over the world and have never been disappointed!
Ahmad was very informative and friendly throughout our 2 hour walk of Stone Town. he showed us and educated us on things we never would have seen or done without him as our professional guide. 5 stars and would recommend again. Great job Ahmad!
I was lucky there was onot me on the tour. My guide had lunch with me after at a fabulous traditional restaurant called Lukmaan. Highly recommend eating here.
